I have a still born Project 911 that I want to sell. The following is an overview of the project 911. I honestly don't have all of the receipts, so I don't even know what I have in it, so let me know if you are interested and what you might be willing to pay.

The donor car for Project 911 is a Sepia Brown1972 911 Sportomatic Sunroof coupe. The car was originally former national PCA president Burt Propp's car. I have known the car since new. It is a good rust free Califorina car. One battery box has some rust, otherwise I have found none.

My plans for Project 911 were to extensively update the car with all of the things that people would want to do to their own 911s. I planed to make the car look like a 1973 Carrera RS externally. The car was to be powered by a modified 964 engine, modified to 3.8 liters and producing over 300 hp. I have a G50 transmission and suspension parts front and rear including front cross member, A-arms and rear aluminum banana arms, and front and rear brakes from a 1986 Carrera. I also have a steering rack from the same 1986 911 and a quick ratio steering rack that was made by Quaife. I have Fuchs 8 inch and 9 inch by sixteen wheels. I have six P Zero ties 205/ 225 and 245. A Quaife differential, steel synchros for the G50 transmission.

I have carbon fiber body panels from Applied Racing Technologies in Texas for the hood, doors and engine lid, as well as their Tuf-Fak windows to reduce the weight of the car as much as practical. I have RS type door panels with the leather straps to unlock the door latch and one of the two needed door pulls. I have the rubber latches for both the front hood and the engine lid. I have a pair of real RS rear fender plus a set that were cut off of a SC. The idea was to build a café racer so there were some compromises that would add weight, but the goal is to get as close to 2000 lbs. as possible with 300 hp engine. I have a brand new Plastic Porsche fuel tank for the car.

The car is mostly apart, but it is still a roller. The engine transmission, fuel tank, oil tank and instruments are all in the car, pretty much everything else has been removed. The drivers door and engine lid were damaged so I threw them away. The hood and front fenders are on the car as well. The car still has the original engine and transmission and ran when it got parked a couple of years ago.

Jerry Woods has used the core engine that I had purchased for this project, so I can either have him replace it or the buyer can use the engine of their own choice. I do still have the pistons and cylinders for the planned3.8 conversion.

If possible I would prefer that the car went together somewhat as I originally envisioned it, so I would rather take my chances selling the whole project. If the buyer follows through with any of my original plans I would like to still do an article on Project 911 as completed. However, I do want to get rid of the car so I am somewhat flexible.
